About Ginger + Make

Welcome to Ginger + Make, a place for making, playing, and creating things you can actually be proud of.

I’m Jenni, the maker behind Ginger + Make. I studied photography and fashion and worked in the fashion and e-commerce world in London before retraining as an art and photography teacher. Photography and textiles have always been my creative home, with sewing clothes becoming my favourite way to switch off and reconnect. After moving to Cornwall and having children, I began finding my way back to creativity and to teaching. Ginger + Make has come from a long held wish to work for myself, and from a belief in making space for care, creativity, and lives lived on our own terms.

We make handcrafted wire pieces and run fun, hands on workshops where anyone can explore their creative side. Whether it’s a personalised wire sign or a workshop, our goal is simple: make creativity enjoyable, accessible, and meaningful.

The name “Ginger + Make” comes from family and creativity. “Ginger” has been part of our story for years, and “Make” is all about slowing down, working with your hands, and enjoying the process, not just the finished piece.

We believe making is good for the soul. It’s about having fun, focusing, and leaving with something tangible that you’ve crafted yourself. Whether you join a workshop or order a custom piece, we want you to feel inspired, capable, and proud of what you create.
